There are several required purchases necessary to start an FTC team. Some of these items, such as the reusable competition kit, are one-time costs. Others, including event registration fees, recur year after year. To view an up-to-date list of expenses that may be incurred during the season visit the FTC Registration and Cost page on the FIRST website. This list that is currently posted is applicable for a FTC team of up to 10 members.
