The TETRIX® PRIZM™ Robotics Controller is a fully integrated, programmable brain for your bot that features a variety of motor, servo, encoder, and sensor ports with convenient connectors that enable you to control your robot's behavior like never before. This controller offers the best of both worlds – a learning tool that is powerful yet easy to use. With PRIZM you can take learning to new heights by creating robots that are smarter, more precise, and as real world as it gets.

The controller is specifically developed for use with the TETRIX MAX building system and comes with programming support for the Arduino Software (IDE), which is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X 10.7 or newer, and Linux devices that have a USB port.

The PRIZM Robotics Controller features:

  • 32 KB flash programmable memory
  • ATmega328P processor with Arduino Optiboot bootloader installed
  • 4 digital sensor ports (D2 can be used as a serial port) and 3 analog sensor ports
  • 1 I2C port, 1 USB programming port, 1 motor controller expansion port, and 2 quadrature encoder input ports
  • 2 high-current DC motor control ports
  • 6 standard control servo ports and 2 continuous rotation (CR) servo ports
  • Battery connection port (additional port used to daisy-chain power to other devices)
  • Programmable Start button (green) and a non-programmable Stop/Reset button (red)
  • Comes with USB cable, power switch, motor cables, and a Quick-Start Guide

Take control of your TETRIX® DC motors – this controller plugs into your TETRIX wireless gamepad receiver to enable you to control the speed and direction of two TETRIX 12-volt DC motors.

When your class is building more robots than you have remote controls for, it’s handy to have extra receivers so students can attach them while constructing their robots and not have to remove them right after running the robots. This option is a serious savings compared to buying more remote controls. Six-channel, 2.4 GHz receiver.

$160.00 $99.00

Buying a new gamepad system when only the receiver is lost or damaged is wasteful and expensive. We’ve solved that problem by offering this replacement 2.4 GHz receiver that comes with built-in mounting tabs that align with the TETRIX® hole pattern.

Please note this version of the R/C receiver is compatible with only the 40239 gray wireless gamepad and is not compatible with previous versions of the joystick controller.

The TTX610 airplane radio system uses the advanced 2.4 GHz spread-spectrum Secure Link Technology (SLT) protocol for solid, interference-free control of R/C models.

  • TR625 twin antenna receiver
  • Wired and wireless trainer functions
  • Quad-bearing gimbals
  • Digital trims
  • V-tail and elevon mixing
  • Built-in charge jack
  • Switched fifth and sixth channels

The NXTServo-v3 Module is designed to work with the LEGO® NXT or EV3 Brick, enabling you to add programming and sensors to your TETRIX® PRIME robots. This module will control the speed and position of up to eight TETRIX PRIME servo motors, using commands sent from the NXT or EV3. Software blocks for NXT and EV3 software, as well as programming examples for ROBOTC® and LabVIEW™, can be downloaded here (.zip file, 250 KB).

Note: One motor channel position must be used to connect the TETRIX PRIME six-volt battery to the module.

This is a high-resolution optical encoder kit for use with TETRIX® DC Motors. The kit includes one motor shaft encoder, one shaft encoder cable, an encoder mount, and assembly instructions. Intended for use with the TETRIX PRIZM™ Robotics Controller or with the HiTechnic DC Motor Controller, it enables users to program motors using both rotation and degrees. Features 360 cycles and 1,440 pulses per revolution.

Take remote control out of the past! This affordable four-channel controller is designed in the gamepad style with dual joysticks to feel more natural to students. Plus, it offers high-end perks, including interference-free performance, servo reversing, motor trim adjustment, easy linking, and a R2004GF receiver. Can be used with TETRIX® MAX or TETRIX PRIME systems. Controller is 2.4 GHz; includes four AA batteries. Controller color might vary.

The TETRIX® + myRIO Control Board Adapter is designed to easily connect TETRIX Motor Controllers to the NI myRIO. It also contains a built-in logic-level shifting circuit, Grove sensor-family connections, a Gnd expansion port, a 34-pin myRIO I/O expansion port, a +3.3 V expansion port, and a +5 V expansion port.

Ideal for remote-controlled robot events, this indoor/outdoor camera is designed to be easy to operate and install. In comparison to the traditional analog wireless technology running on 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz, and 5.8 GHz, the 2.4 GHz digital wireless technology provides three key advantages: greater signal strength, which provides transmission distance up to 200 feet between walls or up to 350 feet with a clear line of sight; digital signal, which is interference free from crowded wireless analog devices (Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth devices, cordless/cell phones, and other digital devices); and privacy, which is worry free of signal interceptions.

An Android phone with a Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor, front and rear cameras, 4.5-inch display, and a memory card slot. This phone can be used with the FTC Competition Set as the controller or drive station. A cover for the phone is also included.
