TETRIX® PRIME Gears are a step above other plastic gears – these are made to attach to steel shafts and connect TETRIX PRIME Square Beams. Made of sturdy acetal. Fit 6 mm steel axles and secure with 6-32 screw included in TETRIX PRIME sets or sold separately. Delivered in a package of two.
The TETRIX® bevel gear and bearings pack includes two heavy-duty aluminum gears along with two acetal bearings that allow for the transfer of the direction of motion at 90 degrees.
Adding a forklift, conveyor, sorter, or other linear-motion component to robots is made simple with this pack. The rack gears – used individually or laid end to end – are attached to a TETRIX® Channel. The slide blocks and pinion gear go onto another Channel that slides across the rack gears when powered by gears and a DC motor with motor mount, sold separately.
Includes four GF nylon rack gears (5" long), four GF nylon slide blocks, and one aluminum pinion gear.
Utilizing a 4:1 gear ratio for slow and smooth rotational motion, this gear box minimizes backlash and greatly reduces the chance of a back-driving gear motor, so its position can be held even when power is not applied. All-metal construction for durability and power.
