The TETRIX® bevel gear and bearings pack includes two heavy-duty aluminum gears along with two acetal bearings that allow for the transfer of the direction of motion at 90 degrees.
Adding a forklift, conveyor, sorter, or other linear-motion component to robots is made simple with this pack. The rack gears – used individually or laid end to end – are attached to a TETRIX® Channel. The slide blocks and pinion gear go onto another Channel that slides across the rack gears when powered by gears and a DC motor with motor mount, sold separately.
Includes four GF nylon rack gears (5" long), four GF nylon slide blocks, and one aluminum pinion gear.
Utilizing a 4:1 gear ratio for slow and smooth rotational motion, this gear box minimizes backlash and greatly reduces the chance of a back-driving gear motor, so its position can be held even when power is not applied. All-metal construction for durability and power.

If you need more torque or slower output speed, this can be used to replace the 4:1 worm gear that comes with the TETRIX® Worm Gear Box. Also, this set reduces the chance of back driving to almost zero.

TETRIX® Chain with Links is made to work with all ratios of TETRIX sprockets. The chain pack includes five feet of 0.250" steel chain and four master connecting links. TETRIX chain can easily be cut to custom lengths using the Chain Breaker Tool, sold separately.
With the Chain Breaker Tool, quickly and easily change the length of the 0.250" TETRIX® Chain with Links. Simply measure the length you need for your application, position the chain in the breaker block, and turn the side-mounted screw to remove a chain-linking pin. A connecting link (included in the TETRIX Chain with Links pack) is used to reconnect the chain. This tool is a must if you are planning on changing lengths often.
These lightweight aluminum spacers are exactly half the width of TETRIX® Channels and feature four tapped holes to provide secure 16 mm spacing between TETRIX structural elements. These handy spacers are useful for obtaining proper gear mesh spacing when building geared servo mechanisms and for a variety of other adjustments and attachment needs.
These bearings provide extra support when building mechanisms interact with heavy-duty loads.
