Add function with this kit that enables you to build a gripper for your TETRIX® PRIME robot. After it is built, the gripper can easily be added to a robot, using a thumbscrew and wing nut. Gripper jaws open to 63 mm to pick up objects. Comes with necessary hardware and screws. Requires assembly and a standard servo, sold separately.
These four-sided, heavy-duty aluminum beams are the structural building blocks for creating with the TETRIX® PRIME Building System. They come in seven lengths to provide you with flexible building options, and the beams can be cut to custom lengths with a metal-cutting blade.

These versatile aluminum linkages make it easy to create custom links and pivoting connection points. The flat linkages are also great structures for building and can be cut and shaped into various angles or curves with ease for customized applications.
Create a variety of attachment surfaces with these sturdy, aluminum, 2 mm thick building plates. Great for creating new ways to connect and combine all of the TETRIX® PRIME components.
These sturdy aluminum gussets are used to connect structural components at different angles and to provide additional strength where needed. Available in 60-, 90-, and 120-degree angles, these gussets serve as a great way to expand building options and increase the strength and robustness of your robot builds!
TETRIX® PRIME Gears are a step above other plastic gears – these are made to attach to steel shafts and connect TETRIX PRIME Square Beams. Made of sturdy acetal. Fit 6 mm steel axles and secure with 6-32 screw included in TETRIX PRIME sets or sold separately. Delivered in a package of two.
Get those TETRIX® PRIME robots rolling with these 90 mm wheels made of sturdy acetal with a built-in hub. A rubber tire is included for better traction. Fits 6 mm steel axles and secures with 6-32 screw included in TETRIX PRIME sets or sold separately.
The ball skid makes a great low-friction contact point for differential-drive robots where an omni-wheel or pivoting caster wheel might not be an option.
Attach wheels and gears with these precision-ground steel axles. The D profile keeps wheels and gears from spinning on the shaft. 6 mm diameter. Available in 40 mm and 80 mm lengths.
Note: PRIME axles do not work with MAX axle hubs, shaft couplers, or other MAX parts used with MAX axles.
Featuring fully proportional forward and reverse speed control, this servo enables precise movements of robot designs. Unlike other servos that have a limited range of motion, this servo rotates continuously in either direction – as needed for wheels. This high-quality servo is designed with a wide neutral dead band to eliminate the “creep” that occurs in many other continuous rotation servos. Dual ball bearings on the output shaft ensure long-lasting performance. Note: This servo does not have position feedback.

Attach an R/C receiver and R/C speed controller to the TETRIX® hole pattern. Plastic decks are attached using screws and nuts included in the TETRIX starter sets. Kit includes two plastic mounting decks and a hook-and-loop fastener.
The NXTServo-v3 Module is designed to work with the LEGO® NXT or EV3 Brick, enabling you to add programming and sensors to your TETRIX® PRIME robots. This module will control the speed and position of up to eight TETRIX PRIME servo motors, using commands sent from the NXT or EV3. Software blocks for NXT and EV3 software, as well as programming examples for ROBOTC® and LabVIEW™, can be downloaded here (.zip file, 250 KB).
Note: One motor channel position must be used to connect the TETRIX PRIME six-volt battery to the module.
Buying a new gamepad system when only the receiver is lost or damaged is wasteful and expensive. We’ve solved that problem by offering this replacement 2.4 GHz receiver that comes with built-in mounting tabs that align with the TETRIX® hole pattern.

The Arduino Hardware Kit is a great way to get started programming TETRIX® PRIME robots with the Arduino programming language. This convenient hardware kit contains everything you need to add Arduino control to your TETRIX PRIME R/C Starter Set:
All components come with mounting adapters, making it easy to attach to the TETRIX building system hole pattern. Arduino Software (IDE) must be downloaded from the Arduino website.
Previous experience and familiarity with the Arduino platform is recommended.
