Can I use a purchase order (PO)?

Pitsco does accept purchase orders from schools. You will be prompted at checkout to enter your purchase order number under Your Payment Method. If you are a tax-exempt organization, your state sales tax exemption certificate must be on file prior to your order shipping.

Can I get a quote? Who can I contact about a quote?

Getting a quote is easy on TETRIX® Robotics. Just select the items you want and add them to your cart. When done selecting items, click the cart icon and then click “Request a Quote for This Cart,” which is under the green Proceed to Checkout button. You will be directed to choose an organization type, to enter your contact information, and to review and submit the quote request. A sales representative will contact you. For orders outside of the United States, contact your local dealer or email us directly at orders@pitsco.com.

Are there grants? Who can I contact for help writing grants?

Will I have to pay sales tax?

Sales tax will be added to all orders unless the organization is registered with Pitsco Education as tax exempt.

Most states require us to charge sales tax. If you are ordering on behalf of a tax-exempt organization, place your order and then look at the Order Total area. If you are charged tax, then fax, email, or mail a copy of your state sales tax exemption certificate or a completed multi-state exemption certificate to us at:

Proof of your organization’s tax-exempt status must be on file. If you are uncertain about whether we have your tax-exempt information on file, please call Customer Service at 800-835-0686.

Can I get expedited shipping?

Yes, Pitsco offers expedited shipping; options are:

  • Second Day Air (available only in the lower 48 states)
  • Next Day Air

When considering expedited shipping, be aware of the following:

  • Shipping time is stated in business days (no deliveries on Saturday, Sunday, and some holidays).
  • Orders must be submitted before 12 noon central time.
  • Orders submitted after 12 noon central time will be processed the following business day.
  • See shipping time for Standard Ground Delivery.
  • Back orders will be shipped ground unless otherwise specified.

I don’t live in the US; can I purchase and have the products shipped out of the country? OR, I do live in the US, but can I purchase and will you ship products to a relative/friend outside the country?

We cannot process your order on our website if:
  • Your credit card billing address is outside the US or Canada.
  • You wish your order shipped to an address outside the US or Canada.

These orders must be placed over the telephone. Please call 620-231-0010 (800-835-0686 from within the US or 800-465-7737 from within Canada) during our business hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Time, to place your order. Or you can email us directly at orders@pitsco.com.

Shipping to Addresses Outside the US or Canada:

If you wish your order shipped to an address outside the US or Canada, our staff must quote the shipping and handling charges. Within 72 hours, we will send a shipping quote to the email address you provide. (It is essential that you provide a valid email address when you call.) Before we can process your order, you must reply to our email and confirm that the shipping and handling charges are acceptable.

Our normal policy for international orders is to hold the entire order if any item is out of stock. Please contact our Help Desk if you would like your order partially shipped.

For any order that is shipped outside the US or Canada, the purchaser must prepay with a credit card or a bank transfer and agree to be responsible for all shipping and handling charges as well as any import tariffs, taxes, duties, broker fees, or any other associated charges.

I live outside the United States and my dealer doesn't offer the full range of parts. How do I order the parts they do not offer?

My packing list shows a product on back order; when will it ship?

An item that is temporarily out of stock has been ordered from our supplier but has yet to arrive at our warehouse. Even though the item is out of stock, you may add it to your shopping cart.

If your order contains both in-stock and out-of-stock items, we will ship the in-stock items right away, generally within 24 hours of your order. The out-of-stock items will ship as soon as they become available.

If you would like your entire order held until all items are available, please specify this in the Special Shipping Instructions field on the Checkout page.

My packing list shows products on back order; did my credit card get charged for those products?

Your credit card is charged when the products ship, not at the time the order is placed.
